first success!

The first exchange went pretty darn well. I only had four people email me, but at least its a start. It means we can do at least four more exchanges while still getting mixes from different people. I will try and get photos up this weekend of some of the album art. It was pretty impressive!

mixed cd exchange

I absolutely love making and receiving mix cds from my friends. But because we have basically the same musical tastes, the cds really aren't that diverse. So I figured hey, I'll just join a random group online. After an intense hour of googling, I didn't find one that still operating or that wasn't closed to new members (if I'm wrong, please let me know). So then I figured hey, I'll just start a random group online.

So this is how it will work:

• email me at cdmixup@gmail.com and say something like "I want a mix cd!"
• I will email you back with my address.
• You can then mail me a mix cd (include a complete track list (and cover art, if you want to be awesome)) along with your return address.
• And I will mail you back a new mix cd from me, a friend, or some other random person.

Also, your address will not be kept. As soon as I send you the new mix cd, your address will be destroyed. If you have any questions or ideas to make this better, please comment.
